Our Forward & Rear Tipping Dumper Courses

Specialist Dumper Training Courses

Contour Training Ltd provide dumper training courses accredited by Lantra Awards and NPORS for anyone who uses or will be using a wheeled or tracked forward or rear tipping dumper in the land-based or construction industries.

Industry Experience

Our industry experience includes working with both public and private sector, construction and utility sectors, government organisations, local authorities, MOD and conservation groups. We have some of the most experienced Lantra Awards and NPORS trainers in the UK, many of whom are also highly experienced with all types of all-terrain vehicles.

Why Learn?

Dumpers are involved in around a third of all construction transport accidents, causing many deaths and serious injuries, particularly to drivers. The main causes of dumper accidents are:

  • Overturning on slopes and rough ground
  • Travelling with a high lift skip in its raised position
  • Driver thrown from vehicle when travelling over rough ground
  • Accidental operation of controls due to operator lack of experience and training

These accidents can be avoided by having a well-trained and certified workforce.
