Specialist Brushcutter/Trimmer Training

Contour Training offer Brushcutter / Trimmer courses accredited by NPORS and Lantra Awards, the UK industry standard. We offer 2 day courses (1 day for experienced operators), resulting in a Lantra certificate of competence for operating strimmers and brushcutters..

Industry Experience

Contour Training’s industry experience includes working with both public and private sector, construction and utility sectors, government organisations, local authorities, MOD and conservation groups. We have some of the most experienced Lantra Awards and NPORS trainers in the UK, many of whom are also highly experienced with all types of all-terrain vehicles.

Why Learn?

It is a legal requirement that any industrial user of a strimmer or brushcutter should hold a recognised certificate of training.

The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations Act (PUWER 1998) requires employers to provide adequate training and to ensure that equipment is operated only by employees who have received appropriate training in their safe use.

On-site Training

Our network of experienced instructors across the UK allows us to offer on-site training anywhere in the UK. We can arrange equipment hire and training venues or we can visit you, as long as you have a suitable venue and equipment.
