IPAF 1a – Static Vertical Training

Our IPAF 1a Static Vertical Course

Specialist IPAF MEWP Training

This category of IPAF MEWP training covers small vertical access platforms that are typically used for building maintenance. To operate they are moved into position and the stabiliser arms are then deployed. Only then can the platform be safely elevated. IPAF courses promote the safe and effective use of powered access equipment in the workplace.

Industry Experience

Contour Training’s industry experience includes working with both public and private sector, construction and utility sectors, government organisations, local authorities, MOD and conservation groups. We have some of the most experienced Lantra Awards and NPORS trainers in the UK, many of whom are also highly experienced with all types of all-terrain vehicles.

Why Learn?

If an organisation engages in any form of working at height, then they have a legal obligation to provide staff with the correct training. The Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 places a duty on the employer to provide an adequate level of training to allow employees to operate equipment safely and competently. The wider benefits that training can bring about include enhanced company reputation along with the improved development, morale and productivity of your workforce.

Awarding Bodies

Contour Training’s IPAF courses are accredited by nationally recognised awarding bodies IPAF and are designed specifically to assist employers in complying with their health & safety requirements.

Onsite Training

Our experienced instructors will come to clients’ sites and deliver training on your machine, tailoring the training to the environment and use of the machine in the workplace. This also has the benefit of minimising downtime and travel costs for your employees.
