Our Slinger Signaller Training Course

Flexible Training Solutions

As a national training provider, we recognise that lifting operations training can be a challenge for companies to coordinate.

We send our experienced instructors direct to our clients onsite, to train delegates on the equipment and machinery they will be using for day to day tasks, thus ensuring that the training is flexible to the company’s needs, cost-effective and that downtime is minimised.

Industry Experience

Contour Training’s industry experience includes working with both public and private sector, construction and utility sectors, government organisations, local authorities, MOD and conservation groups. We have some of the most experienced Lantra Awards and NPORS trainers in the UK, many of whom are also highly experienced with all types of all-terrain vehicles.

Why Learn?

Slinger signaller training courses are designed for any person who intends to carry out lifting operations, whether as a slinger/signaller, the person who is attaching the load to the crane or lifting machine, or as the competent person in charge of lifting operations as per the Lifting Operations Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER 98).

The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Act (PUWER 1998) require all people who use such equipment to receive adequate training to supervise and manage the safe use of lifting equipment.

Awarding Bodies

Contour Training’s slinger signaller training courses are accredited by nationally recognised awarding bodies Lantra Awards and NPORS and are designed specifically to assist employers in complying with their health & safety obligations.
